I'm not fully following your question... To enable you to select fields for Component, you need to have at least one Component displayed in the screen. What is your initial screen in IH01? Tick the boxes such as "Expand ConstrctnType" and "BOM Explosion" and do not tick ones such as "Only PM Assemblies".
To see the document in the IH01 structure view, you could add it as an Item with type D in the BOM
