I want to verify one of the SAP system behavior for SAP 882.
When we create a sales order, we can check the checkbox Procurement Document so that SAP will automatically pop-up Procurement Confirmation Wizard screen to let us create purchase order. Then the purchase order will associate with the sales order (we can see it in relationship map) screen.
If we cancel the purchase order, can we re-do it from Procurement Confirmation Wizard so that the new purchase order will be in relationship map as well?
As you can see from the screen shot #1, the sales order has 2 cancelled purchase order. Then have a new purchase order (the first 4 lines have the same qty and price as purchase order 75)
I tried in SAP 882 and 9. Neither of the system let me do it. After I cancelled the purchase order, I won't be able to re-create it from Procurement Confirmation Wizard. And the customer doesn't have any other add-on to let them do it. They said they can re-do it in SAP 1 week ago but now they can't.
Another thing I found in the sales order is, in screen shot 2, you can see the sales order has some lines associated with PO 158 which is correct.
However, it has some other lines associated with PO 159. When I open PO 159, it has no base document. This being said, PO 159 has no relationship with the sales order at all. And PO 159 is not in relationship map either. Nobody can explain what happened to that sales order.
My question are
1) Can we re-create a purchase order for a sales order from Procurement Confirmation Wizard after we cancelled the original PO?
2) Why the sales order associated to a PO from field Procurement Doc which is not supposed to be?
